The Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation offers Bar Study Grants to support Hispanic law students preparing for the Bar exam. These grants aim to alleviate financial barriers during the rigorous study period, ensuring recipients can focus on their preparation.

Who Can Apply?
Our grants are tailored for Hispanic law students who are:
First-Year Law Students: Those intending to begin their law school journey in 2025.
Second-Year Law Students: Students advancing into their second year in 2025.
Third-Year and Onwards: Law students set to graduate in 2025 or later.
Key Dates for the 2025 Application Cycle
Application Opening: The application portal will be open from January 1, 2025.
Deadline for Applications: All applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM CST, February 7, 2025.
Announcement of Decisions: Applicants will be informed of their application status in early April 2025.
Application Guidelines
Unified Application: A singular application is applicable for both the Scholarship/Bar Study Grant and Judicial Internship Programs. If applying for both, ensure all materials meet the earliest set deadline.
Completeness is Key: We will consider only complete applications for evaluation.
Work at Your Pace: The online system permits you to save your application's progress and revisit it to complete at your convenience.

How to apply

Create an account
Click the link provided below or visit www.dallasfoundation.org, navigate to “Scholarships,” then to “Scholarship Listing,” and select “Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation Scholarship.”
If you are a new applicant, you will need to create an account by clicking “Register” and then selecting “Scholarship Applicant” under Portal Access.
Complete all required fields, and you will receive an email confirmation once your registration is successful.

Login to portal
Log in to the portal: Using the username and password you selected, navigate to Scholarship Funds. Locate the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation Scholarship & Bar Study or Internship, click the link, then enter the access code provided.
Since this scholarship and/or internship is reserved ONLY for a specific student, you must enter the access code provided on the Dallas Foundation's website in the "Please enter the password" box.

Complete application
After entering the code, the scholarship description will appear, and you can begin filling out your application. It's crucial to use the access code and complete the application specifically for the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation Scholarship to ensure eligibility.
